Corrective Chiropractic Care
Like most chiropractors, we are concerned with your pain, however, we take it a step further by restoring your spine “normal” alignment or as near normal as possible. We provide a no-charge patient consultation to help determine if we can help you, a complete and thorough spinal and postural exam – including any necessary X-rays to be able to determine the extent of your spinal problems and determine if and how long it will take to fix. After studying your spinal examination, posture, and X-rays, we will put together a report of findings to let you know if we can help you or not. Because of the specialty of our practice, we see many advanced cases and post-surgical cases, however, not everyone is eligible for corrective care. After we have determined if we can help you or not, we will put together a care plan letting you know how many visits it will take to help you and how much it will cost so that there are no surprises.
You may also have some home care you will be responsible for as well as at home mirror-image exercises that are important factors in your progress.
We are not a participating provider for any insurance network so you, as the patient are responsible for your financial obligation. We accept cash, check, visa, MasterCard, discover, and care credit. We do not participate in any insurance networks because as doctors, we feel it is our responsibility to treat you right and give you the care that you need regardless of what kind of insurance you may or may not have. Everyone is treated equal and we will not be responsible for letting your insurance dictate the kind of care you receive. We will lay out a treatment plan according to your needs, not what your insurance (who doesn’t know your condition or how to treat it) dictates.
Our staff will help instruct you on filing a superbill to your insurance company so that if you have insurance that covers part of your chiropractic care, you can be reimbursed directly from your insurance company for whatever coverage they offer. All companies and coverages are different. We recommend that you contact your insurance company to find out what they cover. Superbills will be generated to you the first week of each month for all of your care in the prior month for you to send to your insurance company. We are not participating providers with Medicare, however we will submit all services to Medicare electronically daily for our Medicare patients. Medicare will reimburse the patient directly for the percentage of care that they cover and visits that they allow. Medicare does not cover any part of the patient’s examination, X-ray’s, or therapy/traction.
As a new patient, it will be necessary for you and your spouse/or guest to attend a one-time, one hour new patient workshop where we talk about your health, how to get it when you need it, and how to not undo what we’re working on doing for you. Because our practice is referral driven, we will always ask you for referrals and “Who do you know that needs our help?” Our goal is to transform the health of our community and reach as many people as possible, but we can’t do it without your help. We expect you to share your progress with others and refer them to us to see if they have a condition in which we can help as well.
